Brent Harvey Bio

For over a 30-year span, Brent Harvey has garnered a solid and respectable reputation in entertainment business. In addition to producing concerts, charitable fundraisers, and other entertainment events, he is a highly regarded consultant and co-founder / Executive Producer of the Hollywood Music In Media Awards.

Brent began his producing career at age fifteen with “The Second Annual People’s Festival” in Anchorage, Alaska. Two years later, he joined a touring band and traveled throughout Canada and the Western U.S.  When the band decided to call it quits, Brent landed a position with The Red Onion restaurant & nightclub chain, one of the most successful and profitable club chains in southern California boasting 17 locations at its peak. The sixteen years he spent there refined his experience in production, programming, promotion and talent buying. In 1993, he left to start his own business.

KBH Entertainment was founded in 1994 as an entertainment consulting, production and management business, working with established, marquee talent as well as independent artists. The Muscular Dystrophy Association had Brent oversee logistics and secure world-class headline entertainment for the organization’s charitable fundraisers including music artists Foreigner, Dennis Quaid & The Sharks, Eddie Money, Sheila E., Edgar Winter and The Family Stone to name a few. Film festivals, such as the Temecula Int’l Film & Music Festival and the Anaheim Film Festival & Media Arts Expo retained Brent as Executive Consultant to provide celebrity award recipients, presenters, oversee festival logistics, insure high production values and produce workshop panels. Celebrities Brent has secured for these events include Smokey Robinson, Peter Bogdanovich, Cybill Shepherd, Virginia Madsen, David Foster, Earth, Wind & Fire, Gena Rowlands, Dennis Haysbert, Raquel Welch and Kenny Loggins among many others.

Brent’s consulting, production and publicity clients have included the TNT Network (production manager of the Los Angeles Lakers Western Conference Championship playoffs), NBA Network (production coordinator of pre-game interviews and post-game analysis), the Exotic Erotic Ball (as co-producer), Ecstasky Air Private Jets and Currency Motorcars (as publicist) and ASCAP’s “I Create Music” (as talent booker) to name a few.

In addition to event production, Brent also works with many of Hollywood’s top music supervisors, licensors, publishers and producers, placing and licensing music for visual mediums.
